Strawberry generation is a Taiwanese term that represents Generation Z, a generation that gets hurt easily. The perception that the older generation have of the youth today is that we are too ambitious but with nothing to show for it. The definition of success especially in Southeast Asian families is material wealth - essentially anything that is tangible. If our generation wants to be anything other than what they expect of us they see us as insufferable or rebellious. Because of this our generation has told ourselves that we were too sensitive for listening to ourselves and our own needs.
