Having been refused a UK Visa twice, I reflect on the opaque forces that dictate mobility, questioning agency and how that is exercised. Enmeshing passport-sized visa documents, leaves, and sound, this piece contradicts bureaucracy’s rigidity with Nature’s organic flow, underscoring the tensions between institutional control and brown ambition.
