Neptunian Fog

This piece is on a reflection of self-identity if all our cultural upbringings (race, religion, gender) and influences are removed. Likened to a dream-like state coupled with a sinister darkness, this portrays the confusion, fogginess of finding our own voice. When our lives, our culture has become so embedded in our thinking, it is hard to escape these intuitive gestures of respect to them. Ultimately, this reflects the frustration with grappling with the social implications of an identity that is marginalised, and a resultant attempt of detachment.
