Keep My Passport While Applying offers a systemic critique of the governance of human movement by paper documents such as passports. Through the narratives of displacement and invasive questionnaires, using a passport as a symbol of power reflects on my lived experience of immigration trauma, which was entangled in the bureaucratic architectures of restriction and belonging.
